Willy Adams dreams of becoming a superspy, but instead lands a job as a super-courier in a skyscraper belonging to the Dodger empire. On his way to achieving his dream, he must conquer floor after floor, deal with bizarre employees, and fix his own mistakes. And things are never made easier by the long-running feud between Grandma Dodger and her grandsons.

3 Floors and an Attic: The Beginning of the Skyscraper Empire

Synopsis

Grandma and her three grandsons all live together in a small house. It may be called a three-story house, but there is never quite enough room for everyone.

The ground floor is, naturally, taken up by the garage. Grandma has her apartment on the second floor, while the third floor has a tiny bedroom for the grandsons and a narrow entrance leading up to the attic.

The attic is the only place where the boys can hide from Grandma. Whenever she calls them to come and help, her lazy grandsons disappear upstairs. Before long, they are spending most of their time there.

There is one day the lazy grandsons dislike more than any other: Grandma’s birthday. Birthdays mean they have to come up with a present—and Grandma doesn’t want just any present. She especially loves gifts made by hand.

Even when the boys somehow manage to put their presents together, the Dodger brothers immediately start arguing over who gets to congratulate Grandma first. And that is when the real adventures begin: a race to deliver the best present.

Between arguments, fights, and even a few spy tricks, somehow not a single present ever reaches Grandma. Every birthday ends the same way—with another promise that next year, they’ll definitely give her something.

Meanwhile, across the street, a baby named Willy Adams is born.

The future super-courier and superspy of the Dodger empire begins causing trouble for the lazy Dodger brothers almost from the moment he enters their lives.

The birthday-present disaster continues as the Dodger brothers grow older and move into separate houses next to Grandma’s—and even after they are given skyscrapers of their own in the empire built by their hardworking grandmother.

The story finally comes full circle on Grandma’s 90th birthday, when the long-running birthday-present saga gets the ending it deserves—an ending told in Season 3, 36 Floors Across: Long Live the Hamster!
